With a crisp breeze in the air hinting at fall, it can only mean one thing: GiveBack DC is running at full speed! We announced the hosted nonprofits this week and we’re happy to say the agencies have already dived in headfirst with their nonprofits to help these great causes step it up online. The teams will be working together throughout September to rebuild the nonprofits’ websites.

Hire Our Heroes

The mission of Hire Our Heroes (HOH) is to empower veterans with the knowledge, skills, and innovative tools necessary to secure employment.

Mentors, Inc.

Mentors, Inc. provides mentoring support to public and charter high school students in Washington, DC and improves graduation rates and students’ outlook for the future.

Ramona’s Way

Ramona’s Way emphasizes domestic violence as a political, social, and cultural condition. Their goal is to assist women in regaining control of their lives, and empower them with the information and support they need throughout the trauma and recovery process.

DC Children and Youth Investment Trust Corporation

The DC CYITC is the primary resource for developing partnerships that expand and improve services and opportunities for children and youth in the District of Columbia, especially during their time out of school.
