The days of basic HTML websites hosted on GeoCites are long behind us (although some relics still do exist online). It is easy to forget how basic the web browsing experience was only a few years ago; streaming video was unthinkable, social media was just getting started, and waiting several minutes for a page to load was commonplace. The advent of broadband and sophisticated coding languages like HTML5 and Javascript have indelibly improved the experience of interacting with web pages. After the initial discovery meetings, the fuse was lit, WordPress was deemed to be the best platform for Praescient’s needs, and the redesign got started.
Throughout the process, WDG worked with Praescient’s team to bring the new site into the world. From thinking through ephemeral design concepts to drilling down on some tricky custom source code, the two organizations collaborated to successfully execute on a shared vision.
